Terms and Conditions of Purchase (Scroll down for Frequently Asked Questions and for Postage details visit the Post and Packing Page) Our Guarantee: We want all of our customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchases, and we are so confident of the quality of our pieces that we're now offering a 3 year guarantee on all of our sterling silver and gemstone jewellery! Should an item purchased from us not live up to our high standards of quality and durability, and break or damage in any way within 3 years of purchase simply return it to us with the receipt for a full refund or exchange to it's purchase value. This guarantee only covers our sterling silver and natural gemstone jewellery pieces and does not extend to any other part of our range. Refunds or exchange can only be given when returns are accompanied with a valid receipt. For items purchased with vouchers we can only offer an exchange. Items that have not been cared for according to our jewellery care guidelines will not be valid under this guarantee. Should any damage, exceeding normal levels of wear and tear, occur to the item this guarantee becomes null and void. All returns must be received by the company in person to be assessed before any refund/exchange will be issued. This guarantee only covers faulty items, or those that break, crack, or tarnish within 3 years from date of payment, and does not apply to anyone who has simply changed their mind. For our general terms and conditions please see below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there is a problem with an item when it arrives, or should an item not fit or you change your mind, we offer a 28 day returns policy. Simply contact us when you receive your item to let us know you will be returning it, post the item back to us, and upon our receipt of the item in its' original condition we will issue a full refund, or facilitate an exchange as required. Please note the item must be received by us within 28 days of the date of purchase so please allow time for postage and delivery. Any items received outside of this time frame will only be eligible for exchange, and we reserve the right to refuse an exchange outside of our 28 day returns period at any time, although in most circumstances we will offer an exchange within 3 months. We do not refund postage and packing costs unless the item is faulty or damaged, and we do not reimburse return postage costs under any circumstances. All returns and exchanges MUST be accompanied by a valid receipt. Should you not want to exchange at the moment we can offer vouchers as a substitute which will be valid for 12 months from date of purchase. All items must be returned in their original condition otherwise we will not be able to offer either an exchange or refund on the item. Please note due to hygiene reasons all earrings are non-refundable.
Returning an item? Step 1 - Contact us to let us know you are returning the item, why you're returning it, and whether you would like a refund or exchange (if the latter please also notify us of which item you would like to exchange it with). Step 2 - Package the item securely to prevent damage during return postage (if the item was damaged upon arrival to you please take a photograph of the item before posting back as proof, and provide a description of the damage in the message above). Remember to include your original receipt (you may want to take a photocopy for your records). Step 3 - Post the item back to us at this address: KJ Collection, 6 Hoyles Road, Wellington, Somerset TA21 9AH allowing enough time to reach us within the 28 day returns period, and ensuring you have chosen an adequate service to provide insurance should the item go missing or get damaged. Step 4 - We will contact you as soon as the item arrives and has been checked over. We will then either issue a refund via your original method of payment or cheque, or facilitate an exchange with another piece (this is fairly simple but may require a further payment to be taken should the new item be of greater value).
We want all of our customers to be not just satisfied but completely thrilled with their purchases, we therefore endeavour to describe all pieces as best we can, including descriptions of any natural flaws, and choose photographs which show the pieces in their true form and natural beauty. We do have a few items which are repeat designs in which case the item in the photograph may not be the exact item you receive, however where this is the case we will notify you in the item description, and all items will be identical (within the boundaries of natural gemstone variations). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions To enable us to keep response times to enquiries to a minimum, here are some frequently asked questions that might help answer your query and save you having to contact us and wait for a response. My Item has just arrived and it's not what I was expecting, can I return it? Yes, all of our items are covered by our 28 day, no questions asked, returns policy - full details and what to do next above. I've had my item for a few months now but one of the stones has come loose what can I do? If it's a silver and gemstone piece it's covered under our 3 year quality guarantee. If you still have the stone simply return it to us and we can get it repaired for you free of charge, or we can offer you a full refund or exchange. Get in touch with us via our contact form and we'll get it sorted asap. I purchased a ring from your online store but when it arrived it didn't fit, what can I do? If you particularly like the ring we are able to get hold of "ring Snuggies" which can be worn to help a ring that is too large to sit tight on a slim finger. If the ring is too small, as long as it is one of our silver rings, a jeweller may well be able to resize it for you, from as little as £5. Alternatively we can source someone for you who might be able to help, in which case get in touch via our contact page. Otherwise if you'd prefer a refund, again just get in touch to let us know that's what you'd like and as long as you return it, as new, within 28 days from purchase, we can offer you a full refund or an exchange if you prefer. I purchased a pair of earrings from you but they don't suit me, can I return them? Unfortunately for hygiene reasons all of our earrings have to be non-refundable so we can't offer to help in this instance. Maybe you have a friend they might suit and could use them as a gift instead. I knocked my bracelet against a wall and the stone has chipped, is it covered under your guarantee? As we state in our jewellery care page all natural stones can be very delicate and require care and attention to maintain, this includes protecting them from contact with other hard surfaces which may well cause damage to the stones. Unfortunately because we warn of this fragility this invalidates this item from coverage under our 3 year guarantee and we're unable to help in this instance.
